Noojee Trestle Bridge

A magnificent piece of Victorian Railway History.

The bridge was opened in around 1917 and was and part of the Warragul to Noojee where the first section (Warragul to Rokeby) opened in May 1890 and the final section (Nayook to Noojee) was completed in April 1919.  It began to closet in March of 1954 and then finally in October 1958.

Today it is part of the Rail Trail walk and is very popular with tourists.

I decided to show the pictures as if they were from the era the bridge first came into service. Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed wandering around happily snapping away.
