Weekend Away at Lakes Entrance Part 1

I have always been interested in taking photos.  I have never allowed myself the time to actually learn too much about it all and for too many years have certainly been separated from my camera and as part of my “Don’t Wait – Just Do It” List I am making a huge effort to reconnect with my camera (actually purchased a new one – Olympus OMD EM5 II) and get out there and see the world in all its beauty.

There was a window of opportunity that presented itself for a quick trip down to the Lakes Entrance area for a weekend and I jumped at it.  I am trying to learn from each picture that I take and hope to improve my picture taking skills and capture the world around me so I can visit it at the times when I cannot get out and about.

I am always amazed at sunsets and winter sunsets are no exception.  They are never the same twice and are always totally magnificent. The Changes that can appear within a few minutes have me in total awe every time I look up.

I also found many birds having fun around the place and am trying to capture them with movement and clarity..  I think I need to lots more practice 🙂
